Walt grew up in Jasper Alabama and began playing music at 12 years old. He was taught to play guitar by his uncle. His talent was quickly evident and spans over many instruments, including piano, drums and cello. His music interest is just as diverse as his talent. "You can never tell whats gonna be on the playlist next, could be Waylon, Tupac or Skynyrd" says Walt jokingly. During his music career he has played all over Alabama with many great bands, mostly contributing his talent on the lead guitar. Fast forward to 2022 and Walt is now the front man releasing his debut album Out West.
This album brings all that country music has to offer. From blistering guitar solos and singing steal guitar to brassy baritone vocals. "This album is a great representation of my musical influences and taste" says Walt.
The title song Out West is an inspirational work remembering the yester-years, and taking you on a short journey through the old west. "On this new album there is definitely something for everyone, new and old country fans alike" says Walt.
